After the stupendous success of KGF: Chapter 1, lead actress Srinidhi Shetty has been signed on for Vikram’s Cobra, directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu. Now, we have received news that she has completed her portions in the film and celebrated the same by cutting a cake with the crew.

Celebrated cricketer Irfan Pathan would be making his movie debut with the film and he is touted to play the antagonist. Cobra has music by AR Rahman and one of the singles, Thumbi Thullal was received well.

You also have Miya and Roshan Mathew in pivotal roles. Harish Kannan handles cinematography while Bhuvan Srinivasan is in charge of the cuts. The film is actor Vikram’s 58th as a lead actor.

Vikram is also a part of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan, based on Kalki’s historical novel of the same name, and stars Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai, Aishwarya Lekshmi and others in pivotal roles as well. AR Rahman scores music and the film is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies.
