South Superstar Rajinikanth will be next seen in the much-talked about film, Darbar, which also features Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Jatin Sarna, Prateik Babbar and others in the lead roles. Helmed by AR Murugadoss, the film is produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions.
Darbar has all the blockbuster elements such as Anirudh Ravichander as the music director for the film, Santhosh Sivan as the cinematographer for Rajinikanth after Thalapathi (1991), and the cuts of the movie will be handled by Sreekar Prasad. Above all, the only name of Superstar is enough. Adding more excitement to it is the latest update on this singer’s involvement.

For the unversed, Thalaivar’s last venture, Petta’s opening song - Marana Mass had brought so much of anticipation as SPB was said to croon this song for the Superstar. However, SPB’s short-stint in the song had left the fans disappointed. Looks like the fans’ wishes are now granted as the number from Darbar will be sung solely by SPB.
