Actor Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in Seemaraja, which was directed by Ponram. of Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan fame. Siva will be seen in director Rajesh's next film, that also has Nayanthara as the female lead. This project is bankrolled by Studio Green Productions.

There were rumours floating on the internet that the film has been titled as Jithu Jilladi. But, the director himself took to Twitter to deny this news. He tweeted:

Identically, Jithu Jilladi is the title of a song from actor Vijay's Theri, directed by Atlee, that had Samantha and Amy Jackson as the lead actresses. The song was composed by GV Prakash.
