Sivakarthikeyan plays a college student and SJ Suryah plays a college principal. Don has evolved into a film with an emphasis on comedy and romance. Sivakarthikeyan's first REFERENCE is located in the classroom, mainly in the opening scenes of the film where he can be seen watching Rajinikanth's Enthiran inside the classroom.

After 30 minutes of the first half, Sivakarthikeyan's character Chakravarthy and Priyanka Mohan's Angaiyarkanni goes to the theater to watch a film. Then Rajini's Sivaaji movie can be seen running. In the next scene, Sivakarthikeyan will be mimicking like Rajinikanth. Next up is Sivakarthikeyan & Friends who dances exclusively to the song "Nan Pollathavan" from the movie Pollathavan starring Rajini at the college festival.
