STR'S MAANAADU PRODUCER DECIDES 'ITS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY'! LATEST UPDATE, HERE!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsSimbu will be essaying the role of Abdul Khaaliq, the protagonist of director Venkat Prabhu's highly-anticipated Maanadu. The shooting had kickstarted a few days ago with a grand pooja and the first shot was set in a coffee shop, the makers had released the behind-the-scenes video which has pumped up the fans excitement.
STR’s Maanaadu is bankrolled by Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions, and the film features Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead while Premji Amaren, Karunakaran and veteran directors SA Chandrasekhar and Bharathiraja SJ Suryah as villain, Aravind Akash amongst others in prominent roles.
While the film is being canned, it has been learned now that the producer has insured the project for Rs.30 crores, by paying a premium of Rs.7.8 lakhs including GST. With the latest horrifying incident at the sets of Indian 2, this move from the makers is definitely an encourageable one, yes?
The film features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the album might feature a song in the voice of the film's actor Premgi. Stay tuned!
