Actor Simbu was last seen in the 2019 movie ‘Vantha Rajavaathan Varuven’. He is currently gearing up for his next movie ‘Maha’, in which he will be playing an extended cameo. He will also be seen in Venkat Prabhu's 'Maanaadu'. Meanwhile, his wedding is making the headlines, yet again during the lockdown.

Simbu And Trisha to get married - clarification here

A few reports that surfaced online suggested that actors Simbu and Trisha are all set to get married during the lockdown, in a simple wedding. The actors reunited for a short film during the lockdown, which is a sequel to their 2010 blockbuster ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’. This wedding news spread like a wildfire on Social media.

However, sources close to the actor have revealed that this news is completely false and is a mere rumour. It is to be noted that earlier this month, T Rajendar and his wife released a Press note, where they had stated that they are on the lookout for a suitable bride for Simbu and asked his fans to not believe any fake news that is spreading online.

Trisha, on her work front was last seen in the big screen opposite Superstar Rajinikanth in the 2019 movie ‘Petta’. She has a few films such as ‘Paramapadham Vilayaatu’ and ‘Raangi’ in the pipeline for a release. She is also a part of Mani Ratnam’s Magnum Opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’.
