A GHOST FIGHTING FOR ITS FREEDOM

Jackson Durai featuring Sathyaraj, Sibi Raj, Bindu Madhavi, Karunakaran and others is hitting the screens tomorrow, the 1st of July. We catch up with Sibi ahead of the release of the film.

“Jackson Durai is the first horror comedy film in my career. Also, appa has played  a ghost for the first time in his career too. I play the lead. There are lots of interesting elements in the film. For one, Jackson Durai is a horror comedy set in a totally different backdrop, pre-independence times. A ghost will be fighting for the independence thinking that it has not got its freedom.

Technically, it will be  a brilliant film.Director Dharani Dharan’s first film Burma was an example of good technical elements. It will be followed in Jackson Durai too. Be it the camera work, or the music or the making style, it will be perfect. Siddharth Vipin’s music, Vivek Harshan’s editing and Yuvaraj’s cinematography have augmented the films’ feel.

Besides appa, Bindu Madhavi, Karunakaran, Motta Rajendran and Yogi Babu feature in this flick. There will be an equal blend of horror and humor and it will be a fun entertainer which will be enjoyed by all sections of the audience”.

Sibi also has Kattappava Kaanom directed by Mani Seiyon which is done. Post production is happening right now and it will be ready for release soon
