The latest news from the team is that, the shooting of the film has been wrapped up, and only the dubbing and other post-production work is pending. The director of the film Seenu Ramasamy took to Twitter, saying “It's a wrap for #maamanithan.All credit goes to my cast and crew for their effort and hard work.Eager to listen the songs and BGM from Isaignani for our canned visuals. Maamanithan started its shooting on 14th December 2018, and now the shoot has been wrapped up within 60 days. The movie stars Gayathrie of Puriyaadha Pudhir fame paired alongside Vijay Sethupathi. It has music by Isaignani Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja. Sreekar Prasad has handled the cuts, and the movie is produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja under his banner YSR films.
