SHOCKING: BLACK PANTHER HERO PASSES AWAY OF CANCER; BATTLED WITH IT FOR FOUR YEARS - FANS IN TEARS!

Aged 43, the actor died at his home in the Los Angeles area with his wife and family by his side. Confirming the death news, his family issued an emotional statement, which reads, “Chadwick was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage 4. A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and several more - all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was the honor of his career to bring King T'Challa to life in Black Panther.”

He was recently seen in Spike Lee's Netflix film, Da 5 Bloods, and will next be seen in George C Wolfe's upcoming film, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, which will be his last onscreen appearance.
