Actor Santhanam has a number of projects lined up in his kitty ever since he started acting as a lead actor. To name a few, the actor is currently waiting for the release of his upcoming films, debutant director Johnson’s A1 and Vijay Anand’s (a former assistant of director Shankar) Dagaalty.
The actor also had signed a film with director Kannan of Boomerang and Ivan Thanthiran fame. The latest update on the project according to our sources is that Santhanam is training in Silambam from the popular action master Stunt Silva. Interestingly, Santhanam and STR had paired up for a 2008 movie, Silambattam.
And the untitled movie is expected to start its shoot by August 15th. Talking more about the project, the director had revealed that the film is set in a rural backdrop and is expected to be shot in Ambasamudram, Kallidaikurichi and Tirunelveli towns of Tamil Nadu.
Meanwhile, director Kannan also has another project that has Atharvaa and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead. The film is expected to commence its shoot on July 15 which will be shot by ‘96’ fame cinematographer Shanmuga Sundaram and dialogues will be penned by Kabilan Vairamuthu.
