RAJINI SIR SAID- HEYYY KAAKA MUTTAI..!!!

We saw Ramesh Thilak recently in Oru Naal Koothu and the actor has done a cameo in Rajinikanth’s Kabali as well. An excited Ramesh tells us all about it.

“I have done a very small cameo in the film. I had been pestering Ranjith sir for even a small out of focus shot in the film and unable to bear my badgering, he took me in (laughs). It was the last day of the schedule at Chennai and I went to the shooting spot. It was a resto bar kind of set up.

I was ready, sir came and I went dizzy. Ranjith sir introduced me. And then the lion roared – ‘heyyy kaakka muttai’ with his characteristic laughter. My mind voice was – do you know me sir? Then he mentioned Soodhu Kavvum. For me it was the greatest thing. I did not even know what to speak. I finished the shot.

In the set, there was someone playing karaoke song and when sir was leaving he was playing Oruvan Oruvan Mudhalali. That tune perfectly matched sir’s walk, his majestic style and his body language. I was completely bowled over. He finally wished me and left.

The scene may be there for just a few seconds in the film. But for me –‘Rajini sir-hey kaakka muttai-soodhu kavvum’, that is enough for my entire life time”.
