Did you know that the International Girl Child Day happened yesterday? Well, as part of the celebrations for the day in Telengana, the Department of Women and Child Welfare organized a grand event. The lovely Rakul Preet Singh was invited and also appointed as the Brand Ambassador of the "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" programme for Telengana.

Accepting this huge responsibility, the Spyder heroine made an inspiring speech about how young girls should be confident and think positive to achieve their goals. After a lot of other encouraging and inspiring words, she distributed prizes to girls in Government schools for excellence in various talents.
