PARIYERUM PERUMAL DIRECTOR MARI SELVARAJ'S SUPER SURPRISE PHONE CALL! GUESS WHO?

This past month, Tamil cinema has seen some quality films hit the screens and get widely appreciated for their quality. One of those films is Pariyerum Perumal. 

The film is directed by Mari Selvaraj, produced by Pa Ranjith and stars Kathir, Anandhi, and Yogi Babu. Santhosh Narayanan's music has been widely acclaimed as well.

To add to this, Mari Selvaraj took to his Facebook page to share his experience of getting a super surprise phone call from none other than Rajinikanth. 

His post read, "எப்படி சொல்வது ....சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினிகாந்த் சார் அழைத்திருந்தார். பரியேறும் பெருமாள் பார்த்த தன் அனுபவத்தையும் அதன் மூலம் தான் அடைந்த மன அதிர்வையும் பகிர்ந்துகொண்டதோடு எங்களின் பெரும் உழைப்பையும் கனவையும் சிலாகித்து பாராட்டினார் ❤️ஒரு இயக்குனராக உடலும் மனமும் அதிர்ந்த அந்த நிமிடங்கள் என்றைக்கும் யாரிடமும் மிக சரியாக பகிரமுடியாதவை. மிக்க நன்றி சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் அவர்களே. ❤️❤️"

This is roughly translated to, "How do I tell this.. Superstar Rajinikanth sir had called me. Along with his experience, he also spoke about the mental impact that he received from Pariyerum Perumal. He also appreciated our effort and dream. As a director, I can never explain the physical and mental impact that I had at that moment. Thank you so much Superstar!"
