Produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions, Darbar stars Nayanthara as the leading lady while Suniel Shetty plays the main antagonist. The supporting cast include Yogi Babu, Sriman, Nawab Shah, Prateik Babbar among others.

Distributed in theatres across USA by Prime Media and Kal Raman, Darbar features music composed by Anirudh while Santosh Sivan and Sreekar Prasad handle the editing and cinematography departments.
