On the work front, Dev has been seen more in web series than films, of late. He spoke about his latest, Operation Parindey and said: This character is in a fun space. It is completely opposite as compared to the one from my last project. My character grows throughout the series, and it is an evolving character.

"What I liked about this character is that they (makers) gave me an opportunity to explore the language (Punjabi) because we shot in Jalandhar, and the story is set in Delhi. We couldn't shoot in Delhi as there are no video galleries anymore there. The geography of the city has changed," he further said.
