A day after his injury, the actor took to social media to share an update that the surgery on his fractured shoulder was successful. He also shared a photo of himself from the hospital in which we can see his arms in a sling and a huge plaster on his shoulder.
He wrote: "The devil is back successful surgery.. thank you dear friend Dr #guruvareddy and hugs. Thank you all for your love n prayers.. back in action soon."

Prakash Raj, who was last seen in the short titled 'Edhiri', directed by Bejoy Nambiar in the nine-part Netflix anthology 'Navarasa', currently has multiple projects in the pipeline including Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan', Rajinikanth's 'Annaatthe', Mahesh Babu's 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata', Yash-Prashant Neel's 'KGF: Chapter 2', Allu Arjun-Fahadh Faasil's 'Pushpa' and Vishal-Arya's 'Enemy'.
