As per media reports from Mumbai, it has been reported that the actress had suffered a cardiac arrest and had fallen down unconscious midst a shoot. She is reported to be "extremely critical" and is said to be on the support of ventilator and other life-saving equipment.

Working on longer shifts in the absence of proper nutrition is reported to be the cause of the tragedy to the actress. She is currently undergoing treatment in Raksha Hospital in Mumbai's Malad area.

It has been reported that Gehana Vasisth has been suffering from diabetes and her sugar is on the higher side, while her BP is very low, and that she was shooting for nearly 48 hours without consuming proper nourishment.
