Well-known actor, assistant director and writer Shafique Ansari has passed away on the morning of Sunday, May 10. He is said to have passed away due to cancer complications.
Ansari rose to fame with his stint in the popular TV series Crime Patrol. Apparently, the actor was battling cancer for the past few years. Ansari's death was confirmed by the CINTAA - Cine & TV Artistes' Association, of which he was a part of.
Ansari Shafique has also worked as an assistant director. He donned the role of writer in movies Dost, Izzatdaar, Pyar Hua Chori Chori amongst others.
