Reportedly, a sudden visit has been made by the Income Tax Department officials to the Bigil producers AGS Entertainment and a they had met actor Vijay personally to issue him a summon for some formal enquiries. Currently, Vijay is said to be returning to Chennai, leaving his Master shooting with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
According to reports, AGS Entertainment had undergone IT raids at their properties and offices from this morning, and the summon that was issued to Vijay is said to be in regard to these IT raids at the production houses.
Apart from this, major reports suggest that producer Anbu Chezhiyan who is the proprietor of the production house 'Gopuram Films' has also been raided by the IT Department. It is touted that his office at Madurai, his properties and his residences at Chennai and Madurai had been raided.
