In another shocking and saddening news, popular musician and guitarist, Jack Sherman who played on the Red Hot Chili Peppers' debut album, passed away at 64.

The band announced the news on their Instagram page. The cause of the death is yet to be disclosed. The Instagram post read, “We of the RHCP family would like to wish Jack Sherman smooth sailing into the worlds beyond, for he has passed. Jack played on our debut album as well as our first tour of the USA.”

They further remembered him as “a unique dude and we thank him for all times good, bad and in between. Peace on the boogie platform.” The news left everyone saddened and tribute have poured in for the guitarist.
