POPULAR MALAYALAM ACTOR UNNI P RAJAN DEV ARRESTED IN WIFE'S SUICIDE CASE - DETAILS

Earlier, we had reported that Priyanka had taken the extreme step at her house near Vembayam on May 12 after returning from Angamaly, where she was residing with Unni. Her family had alleged that the actor was physically harassing Priyanka for dowry. A day before the unfortunate incident, Priyanka had lodged a complaint with the Vattappara police, alleging that her husband was harassing her for dowry.

It has also been reported that Priyanka's family had submitted digital evidence to the police as proof that she was subjected to domestic violence. Probe began after Priyanka's brother approached the cops with a complaint.

Unni was arersted after detailed questioning and was taken to Thiruvananthapuram where he has been charged with abetment of suicide and dowry harassment.
