KOLLYWOOD'S POPULAR COSTUME DESIGNER PASSES AWAY! RIP!

Hidden Costume Designer:

Govindaraj had excellent color perception and trendy design. In a film career that spanned more than two decades, he designed costumes for many popular movies. The film industry is mourning over the demise of the legendary artist.

Vijay - Ajith films:

Govindaraj worked in many popular films of the 80s and 90s. His collection includes films like 'Kadhalukku Mariyadhai' starring Jr. Vijay, 'Nee Varuvai Ena' starring Parthiban and Ajith Kumar, Vijay's 'Poove Unakkaga' and Sarath Kumar's 'Suryavamsam'.

As a personal costume designer for celebrities:

Govindaraj was the personal costume designer for actors Ramarajan, Kanaka, Sangeetha and many more. He has been associated with Super Good Films, directors KS Ravikumar, Vikram and Rajakumaran for many of their films.

Final tribute:

Govindaraj's body is kept at his residence; No: 329, Phase 1, Porur Gardens, Porur, Chennai for friends, family and other visitors to pay their last respects. His funeral will take place at 4.30 pm today at Valasaravakkam Cemetery.
