Several of us woke up to the sad news of popular Tamil comedy actor Pandu’s unfortunate death during the early hours of Thursday, May 6th owing to COVID complications. He was aged 74.

Actor Pandu and his wife Kumudha had recently tested positive for Covid-19 and were being treated for the same at a private hospital in Chennai. But Pandu breathed his last on Thursday, without responding to treatment.

Now, as the mortal remains of the late actor are cremated at Besant Nagar, when Behindwoods got in touch with his son, Pintu, he said that his father was very much fond of the media.
