Kalavani 2 is an upcoming romantic drama that has Vemal and Oviya in the lead roles, while RJ Vigneshkanth, Saranya Ponvannan, Ilavarasu, and others play crucial supporting roles. It is directed by A Sarkunam, and is a sequel to Kalavani, that released in 2010.
The makers have released the official trailer of this film that is just longer than a minute. It also contains a few political elements, which has made things exciting. Kalavani was received well by the audiences, and also performed well at the box-office.
The film is produced by A. Sarkunam himself under the banner Varmans Productions. It has music by Mani Amudhavan, V2 and V. Ronald Regan, while Natarajan has composed the background score. Masani is the cinematographer, Raja Mohammed takes care of the edits, while Vivekha, Arun Bharathi have penned the songs.
