Actress Nayanthara, who last acted in the romantic movie Kaathuvakkula Rendu Kaadhal, had the teaser of her next movie - O2 released recently.

O2 producer SR Prabhu says film is not remake

Nayanthara, one of the leading actresses of Tamil cinema, has last acted in films including 'Annaatthe' and 'Kathuvakkula Rendu Kadhal'.

In that sense, the teaser of the upcoming 'O2' movie starring Nayantara has been released today. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the film is directed by debutant director Vignesh GS. Also, the movie 'O2' is expected to be released on the Disney + Hotstar site. A mother and her 8-year-old son are involved in an accident on a bus. The teaser features footage of a collision between two bus passengers trapped in an airtight underground.

The 'O2' teaser has been well received among the people. Meanwhile, many who watch this teaser have been referring to it as a remake of films coming out in some other languages. Similarly, some have suggested that the teaser may have been adapted from other language films.

As such comments were widely shared, 'O2' filmmaker S.R. Prabhu tweeted on his Twitter page that the movie is an original and a different story, and confirmed that it was not a remake.
