Apart from anchoring, Lokesh has also been playing supporting, comedic roles in various films like Vignesh Shivan's Naanum Rowdy Thaan with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the lead.
The actor had suffered a stroke and was left paralyzed recently. The first phase of his skull surgery has been successfully completed and Lokesh has shown good improvement in his health.
In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods last month, Lokesh opened up about his health ailments and what has been keeping him going, with hope. He also revealed that Vijay Sethupathi and Sivakarthikeyan had helped him with financial aid and SUN TV network too, helped him with money during the first phase of the surgery.
A happy news for all those who have been waiting to hear from him - in the latest development, actress Sanam Shetty had taken to her social media to share a good news. Lokesh has completed a successful skull replacement surgery and his mother confirms that he will be completely recovered after the final stitches are removed in ten days. Check out the latest pic -
