Amid much anticipation, the makers of Thala Ajith's 'Valimai' dropped the first single from the movie at 10.45 pm. Titled 'Naanga Vera Maari', the song written by Vignesh Shivan and composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja became an instant hit as soon as it hit YouTube, clocking in nearly 4.9 million views within 12 hours of its release.

The catchy lyric video which had a few behind-the-scenes videos which gave the audience a glimpse into how the song was made, became a trending topic on social media with many discussing about the song.

Congratulating Yuvan Shankar Raja for producing the superhit song, Thala Ajith fans wished the ace-composer and cut a cake for him. The photos are now doing rounds on social media and are going viral.

Having been in the making for close to two years now, ‘Valimai’ is one of the most anticipated Tamil releases this year. Directed by H Vinoth and Produced by Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner post the 2019 courtroom drama 'Nerkonda Paarvai', the movie stars Huma Qureshi, Pearle Maaney, Yogi Babu and Kartikeya Gummakonda.
