Kailas Menon is a popular music director in the Malayalam film Industry. There is indeed some great news at Kailas’ household. Himself and his wife have now welcomed their first baby last week and it is a boy.

Kailas posted this on his Facebook page and shared the good news with his fans. He also shared the first picture of his baby, whom they’ve named Samanyu Rudra.

Kailas wrote a caption that read “Rudra (സമന്യു രുദ്ര) ❤️ Both Samanyu & Rudra are names of Lord Shiva. Samanyu means ‘Having the same mind’ Rudra means ‘The destroyer of misery & evil’ PS: His mom is a big time Shiva devotee 😊”

On the work front, Kailas will be scoring music for a handful of films that include ‘Member Ramesan 9aam Ward’, ‘Six hours’ and the Telugu film ‘Poga Bandy’.
