Music composer LV Muthukumarasamy talks about his debut project Valladesam

Valladesam featuring Anu Hasan is directed by NT Nantha, has music  composed by debutant L V Muthukumarasamy who is the son of legendary musician late L Vaidhyanathan. LVM as he is fondly called as also happens to be the cousin of Simbu. Here he talks about Valladesam and his other pursuits.

The film had a red carpet premiere recently in London. It will hit the screens in Tamil Nadu soon. The audio was launched a few months ago by Kamal Haasan and Bharathi Raja. The film is 80% shot in London and 20% Chennai. It will be a semi-Hollywood style. Kamal had mentioned that our film is technically sound.

Songs and singers
There is a promo song in the film which is sung by Simbu. There are two other songs which fall under melody genre. One of it is sung by Suchitra Karthik and it would be very different from what she has sung all along. Another one  will be in raagam Naattai which has been sung by Abhay Jodhpurkar and Priya Himesh.

Other credits
I did the cover song for Thalli Pogathey for Simbu. I had introduced Shanthanu and Harish Kalyan as singers for an independent album. I have also made an independent album called Shades Of Love which will be released by Thanu sir on 24th October. It is unique in the way that I have given the chance to singers who are residing abroad and also singers here.

Other projects
I am in talks with a few people for my future projects. They are confirmed, but I am waiting for them to announce.

Wish you the best LVM!
