SHOCKING: 'NEDUNCHALAI' AND 'MURDER 2' ACTOR JAILED FOR CHEATING

Kerala court has directed Prashant Narayanan and his wife, Shona to be kept under judicial custody, according to a complaint filed by film producer Thomas Panicker. The actor had earlier starred in the 2017 film Oru Cinemakkaran, which was produced by the Thomas. After this, Prashant had then asked Thomas to invest in a company owned by his father-in-law.

According to IANS, Thomas Panicker invested a sum of 1.20 crore in the firm as per Prashant's advice. But eventually, he came to know that he was cheated by them, and the actor refused to pay the amount. This lead to Thomas Panicker filing a complaint.

The Kerala court has granted the couple judicial remand till September 20. The judiciary has charged the actor and his wife under sections IPC 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 420 (Cheating) under Indian Penal Code.
