A.R.Murugadoss’ recent film was Sarkar with Vijay which talked about politics and mainly, the importance of a single vote. He is currently working with Rajinikanth in Darbar produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions.
A.R.Murugadoss is shooting for the film in full swing now. The cast includes Nayanthara, Yogi Babu and now the latest update is that the team is about to finalise one of the villains for Darbar.
The buzz today on internet was the director had recently watched Baaghi 2 and was impressed with Prateik Babbar's performance and so, decided to cast him. Prateik is said to be roped in to play the role of the antagonist’s son who will also appear in few important scenes with Rajinikanth. But when we checked with our close sources, they denied the news confirmation and said "Prateik was auditioned for the role, but the team is yet to take a final call."
With the Lok Sabha Elections happening on April 18, A.R.Murugadoss has planned to fly down to Chennai (tomorrow) Thursday morning to cast his vote and return back to Mumbai soon after, on the same day, to resume shoot. Thus the Sarkar man proves he will not just preach but practise his words.
