Popular actress Surekha Vani’s husband, Suresh Teja who was a TV director, passed away on Monday after battling with a prolonged illness. He was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad and was undergoing treatment for his illness.
He is survived by his wife and daughter named, Supritha. Years ago, Surekha met Teja as a budding artist and he had given her opportunities to host a few shows in Telugu. They fell in love gradually and became soulmates.
Surekha has appeared in movies like – Jilla, Uthama Puthiran, Deiva Thirumagal, Ethir Neechal, Mersal, Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, Viswasam amongst others.
