Kenisha Awasthi, who played Rita in the series also got a lot of appreciation from the series’ fans for her performance as the teacher. In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, she revealed some interesting information about the making and her experience on working in the 18+ series.
Kenisha spoke about how she got onboard with the team of ‘Mastram’ after around 3 auditions and screen tests. When asked about performing intimate scenes and whether she’s embarrassed about acting in such scenes, she said “No, I don’t feel embarrassed. I know exactly what’s happening, with many cameras around and the approach is very technical. Once you take on a job, you have to get confidence in yourself.”
When asked about the season 2 of ‘Mastram’, she replied saying “As of now, we haven’t planned for season 2 yet. We are waiting for the lockdown to end and if hopefully, everything goes as per Plan, season 2 will happen soon. I am ready for more intimate scenes.”
