KGF's Success and its sequel

KGF is a 2018 Kannada blockbuster film set in Kannada cinema. The film was directed by Prashanth Neil. Yash, Srinidhi Shetty amongst others were featured in the first chapter. Must admit, the film went on to be a blockbuster across the country.

The second part stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj and Srinidhi Shetty in pivotal roles. The music is composed by Ravi Basrur and the cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda. The fight scenes of the film are directed by the twins - Anbariv. The second instalment has also been produced by Hombale Films who had produced the first part. Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Adheera in this film.

Delay in Release 

The crew first officially announced the release of 'KGF2' last year. However, the release of the film was postponed due to Corona. It has been officially announced that KGF-2 will be released on April 14, 2022. The film is planned to be released on a large number of screens across India. It was first said that KGF 2 and Lal Singh Chaddha, a remake of the FORREST GUMP film starring Aamir Khan would hit the screens on the same day, but the latter got postponed.

TOOFAN song announcement

It had been announced that the lyrical video of the song TOOFAN, which will be featured in the film, will be released on March 21 (today) in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada.

Like the song "Dheera Dheera" from the first part of KGF, the TOOFAN song has been released with mass lyrics narrating the adventures of the protagonist Rocky. At the end of the first part there is an expectation of what Rocky is going to do next. The song has been released simultaneously in four languages ​​and is gaining popularity on the internet. Songwriter Madhurakavi has written this song in Tamil.
