His sudden demise left family, friends and fans in a state of shock. Kaushal had produced and directed a few films and had directed over 800 commercials.
From Filmmaker Onir, his close friend Rohit Bose Roy, Singer Shreya Ghoshal, Actress Khushbu to Actor Anupam Kher, many extended their condolences to the family and prayed God to give the family strength at this time of immense grief.
