CONFIDENT IN MY DANCING SHOES, SAYS MAMMOOTTY

Megastar Mammootty is generally not known for his dancing skills. But there are some simple dance moves of him that have become iconic and have gotten the name 'Mammootty step'. His inability for flexible dance moves has been used by mimicry artists in stage shows to trigger laughter.

The same idea was used in a song in Mammootty's latest movie Thoppil Joppan by director Johny Antony. The song has Mamta Mohandas dancing in rain, and Mammootty's friends will be trying hard to stop him from dancing along.

When asked about it, Mammootty said in a playful way that he had full confidence in his dancing skills, but others were not confident enough. He also added that the makers gave him simple steps as they were afraid of him outsmarting the actress.
