One of the prominent figures in the Tamil literary world is none other than Vairamuthu who has written over 7,500 songs and poems which have won him seven National Awards, the most for any Indian lyricist.

He has also been honoured with a Padma Shri, a Padma Bhushan and a Sahitya Akademi Award for his abundant literary output. Now, according to the latest reports, the lyricist is admitted in a hospital in Chennai city.

Reportedly, he is said to have been admitted due to the prevailing heart issues. While a few other reports also suggest that it was for a routine check-up. More details regarding this is awaited. Watch this space!
