This year's Pongal saw Petta and Viswasam clash at the box office, and the most positive thing about the clash was that both films are performing well due to good content and positive reviews.
Recently, KJR Studios tweeted that Viswasam had collected Rs. 125 crore, which was surprising for the fans, because it is nearly impossible for a film to collect so much within 1 week of release.
Speaking about this, Kotapadi J Rajesh of KJR Studios explained how Viswasam achieved this feat. He said: "Things have changed now. Numbers are changing now. There are 5-7 shows at theatres at various places. People come with friends, family in groups and that is getting converted into money for me.
No one expected this from both sides. This is a healthy competition. A lot of them are watching the movie 7-8 times. Both Petta and Viswasam have broken the records."
