''AFTER WEARING DIRTY LUNGI AND BANIYAN, I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO WEAR TROUSERS AND SHIRTS''

Having made the audiences sit up and take note of him in Prabhu Solomon’s Kayal, Chandran will soon be donning the lead role in a comic caper titled Thittam Pottu Thirudara Koottam (TPTK), famous lines from MGR song. He elaborates on the film and his role.

“This is my fourth film and I will be working with Naalaya Iyakkunar fame Sudar who is making his debut.

TPTK is more of a lively film. After Kayal, I have done two films which are yet to release. One is Graganam and the other one is Roobai, a Prabhu Solomon’s production. When you compare these films with this, right from the title to end credits, it will be out and out a comedy film, something which I am trying for the first time. It will be a dark, witty comedy.

I play a character called Shiva, a city bred guy who is an IT professional. This movie will concentrate on what makes an IT professional to go out of his way to achieve something that he wants. We will also be showing night life in the film.  After having donned on dirty lungi and baniyan, I will be wearing colorful pant shirts in this film.

Pichaikkaran fame Satna Titus is the heroine. Parthiban sir is doing a very crucial role and will be taking a turnaround from the second half of the movie. Danny of Sumar Moonji Kumar fame and Chaams are there as supporting cast.

Mahesh, an associate of DoPBalasubramaniem is the cinematographer and Ashwath who had composed music for Nalanum Nandhiniyum is the music composer for this film.

We will be shooting out and out in Chennai. We have planned for 35 days of shoot and expect to wrap around the first week of September. Looking forward to the film.

After I complete this, I will be doing a project for Amma Creations Siva sir. Official announcements will soon come.”
