The first look poster of the film with the tagline 'Tales of South Madras' was released by director AR Murugadoss and featured Harish Kalyan, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Sundeep Kishan, Venkat Prabhu, Premgi Amaren, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vijayalakshmi, and Regina Cassandra. Kalaiyarasan, Mirchi Shiva, Aravind Akash, Jai, and Janani are also said to be a part of the film.

Yuvan Shankar Raja, Santhosh Narayanan, Sam CS, Sean Roldan, Premgi Amaren, and Ghibran have composed music for the film. Vijay Milton, MS Prabhu, Balasubramaniam, SR Kathiir, RD Rajashekar, and Sakthi Saravanan have cranked the camera while Anthony, Praveen KL, Vivek Harshan, Mu Kasi Viswanathan, Raja Mohammed, and Ruben have edited the anthology.

Jointly produced by Venkat Prabhu, under his Black Ticket Company banner, and Trident Arts, Kasada Thapara is now confirmed to be an exclusive OTT release on SonyLIV.
