Cook with Comali is among the top shows of the small screen. The antics of the contestants make the audience laugh a lot. A little while back, Pavithra Lakshmi left. Before leaving, she had words of praise for Pugazh, crediting him for her success. She is all set to make her silver screen debut with Shane Nigam in Ullasam. It is expected that she will sign a lot of projects for the big screen in the future.

Now, it has been revealed who’s going to be the first finalist of this season and it’s none other than Kani. Look at the short video promo released by Vijay Television. Just like Pavithra Lakshmi, she too is full of praise for Pugazh.

In case, you did not know, Kani is National award winning director Agathiyan’s daughter and is sister to actresses Vijayalakshmi and Niranjani, the latter of whom recently got married to director Desingh Periasamy of Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadhithal fame. KKK starred Dulquer Salmaan and Ritu Varma in the lead and put up a good performance at the box office. Kani is married to director Thiru and the couple are parents to two lovely girls.
