In a shocking incident that is doing rounds now, model and actress Alexandra Djavi, a Russian national who had acted in Raghava Lawrence's 'Kanchana 3' is said to have found dead in her rented apartment in Goa. Reportedly, the actress was found hanging in a room with the door latched from inside on Friday.

Russian consulate had informed the reporters that the late actress’ post mortem would be conducted soon after the family representative of the deceased gave consent. While police indicated that Alexandra might have committed suicide, the investigators are waiting for autopsy report.

For the unversed, the actress had earlier hit the headlines in 2019 when she lodged a police complaint against a Chennai photographer for alleged sexual harassment, post which he was arrested. According to the locals in Goa, the actress’ boyfriend had walked out of her recently and this might have made her take this extreme step out of depression.
