Multi-faced 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan is undoubtedly one of the best actors in Indian cinema and he is also a successful producer. His production 'RaajKamal films international' banner's upcoming project 'Kadaram Kondan' is directed by Rajesh M Selva starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role. The film also starres Kamal's second daughter Akshara Haasan and Nasser's son Abi Hassan in pivotal roles.
The grand trailer launch of the film happened on 3rd July and the producer Kamal Hassan attended it along with other prominent members of the film. During his speech in the event, he said that the film is looking really good and added "I did not like how much it time it took for him to become 'Chiyaan' Vikram, he should have became famous earlier. Even when I was an actor, I always appreciate good actor and good films. I appreciate only when i feel like and this film is very satisfying for me. I'm not saying this as producer of the film, but as a fan. I am a fan before becoming an actor and that is my first qualification. You must see this film for Vikram. He has a great style in the film which is rare to see on screen.
You will see the film on July 19th. A film should have overall performance from all actors, not just centred on the hero of the film. Only confident actors can help and support other actors with them which Vikram has done. Audience have to support right films, you all have that duty to do so. Films are not just business, it is a cultural and historical identity. Good films must not be judged not just by the money earned, but the audience must feel so too. More films must be made like this, If you think i'm challenging, sure, take this as a challenge and take better films than me and send the Tamil films to international standards, it will also increase the business for our films worldwide. Everyone is taking about 'Avengers' and our films must get to that standard first to reach that height.
I don't usually say a film is in Hollywood standards, but this film is. The hero, the film and the story totally stands equal to English films. Ghibran, Rajesh and many others who are part of this team has come to this place by themselves and , with hard-work, blood and sweat and I'm proud to have played a part in their career, I thank everyone from the team." he concluded.
Ghibran scores the music for the film and Srinivas R.Gutha has handled the camera. The film is edited by Praveen K. L. The release date of the film as said by Kamal Haasan during his speech in July 19th.
