KAMAL HAASAN QUESTIONS GOVERNMENT ON HEALTH WORKERS' SAFETY: "IS IT FAIR TO SEND.."

In his Twitter account, Kamal Haasan opined "Is it fair to send your unarmed warriors to a battle. We must pay heed to the health workers who are requesting the necessary safety equipment. The government must fulfil these requirements on a wartime basis."

Actor and politician Kamal Haasan has been vocal about raising awareness related to the ongoing pandemic, which has caused 29 deaths till now, according to Worldometers website. The country is currently observing a lockdown as a precautionary measure. 

Recently, Kamal Haasan praised ambulance driver Pandithurai, who was involved in the Coronavirus preventive operations based in Tamil Nadu.
