Lokesh has been busy shooting with three busy actors, Kamal Haasan - Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, despite occasional setbacks due to Corona outbreak. A total of 110 days of filming got ended a few weeks ago.
The film stars Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. Kalidas Jayaram plays Kamal Haasan's son. Vijay Sethupathi is paired with Shivani and Myna Nandini. The film is produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International.
The first look poster of the film, making video were released recently and attracted fans from all walks of life. Girish Gangadharan, who won the National Award for Malayalam film 'Jallikkattu', handled the cinematography for Vikram.
Anirudh composes the music. A glimpse of the film was released on the eve of Kamal Haasan's birthday and was well received. Sony Music has acquired the audio rights of Vikram.
It has been announced that the audio and trailer release of Vikram will take place on May 15. Vikram will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi on June 3. Now, the Twitter post of Vikram director Lokesh Kanagaraj is going viral.

In it, he tweeted, "36 years of penance! My world leader Kamal Haasan appreciates the director in me!". In the comment, Kamal fans say that 'Kamal left after watching Vikram and congratulated Lokesh'. The 8th Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year on May 15 and 22 at the Island Grounds in Chennai from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
