In the lines of Mallu Singh, we have another upcoming movie who will feature a Malayali Singh character in the lead, a naughty Sardar rightly called Happy Singh and the character is played by our own Poomaram hero.
Yes, we are indeed talking about Kalidas Jayaram. Kalidas will be playing the role of Happy Singh who is in love with a Christian girl whose father wants to conduct her wedding at the church. The trailer of the movie was released yesterday.
The film is written and directed by the husband and wife duo Sudip Joshy and Geethika Sudip. The film has Siddique, Praveena, Jauved Jaffrey in important roles. Siddhi Mahajankatti is paired with Kalidas.
Happy Sardar movie is expected to be a completely fun filled movie from what we can gather from the trailer. The movie is produced by Haseeb Haneef, Shwetha Karthik and Joshvin Joy under the banner of Achicha Films and Desi Flicks.
