THE ONE THING THAT CAN NEVER CHANGE IS..

Kalaiyarasan who rose to fame with Madras has been part of numerous films as the male lead in recent times. His film with Kabali girl Dhansika directed by debutant Vicky Anand(who was a former fashion designer) is Uru. It has been produced under the banner Vaiyam Medias by V.P Viji.The trailer of this film released today (26th April) and from the looks of it, Uru seems to be a good package all over.

The trailer has Kalai playing the role of a writer and this movie seems to be dark and intriguing with a good share of thrills and chills. It is set at the backdrop of a forest and a house plays a major role in this flick. Dhansika seems quite aptly cast and the background music by Johan in the trailer requires a special mention. With top class cinematography from Prasanna S Kumar and crisp cuts by editor San Lokesh, the quality of making seems adequate for a thriller of this sort.

The trailer has a dialogue which says, "The one thing that never goes out of trend or changes is a thriller subject." True to this, Vicky Anand's Uru seems to promise something fresh. It ends with a masked person who might supposedly be the killer or the antagonist. The movie is all set to hit the screens on the 19th of May.

It is to be noted that content oriented films and suspense thrillers have been doing well at the box-office of late. A few examples have been Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru (D-16), Kuttram 23, Adhe Kangal and Maanagaram. Will Uru add to this list? We shall have to wait to find out.
