Produced by Ishari.K.Ganesh under the banner Vels Film International, the film also has K.S.Ravikumar, Yogi Babu, RJ Anandhi and others in important roles. The makers had treated us with several different looks of the actor and each look made the wait for the film more exciting.

When Behindwoods got into a direct phonic conversation with the director himself, one comes to know that they had faced a lot of trouble in shooting an important scene which actually appears in the film for about 5 minutes.

According to the director, the team have recreated the Chennai flood situation that had happened in Madipakkam in music composer, AR Rahman’s YM Studios. This studio was chosen as a spacious indoor set was needed and they had come up with similar set that looked like an actual main road in Madipakkam.

He said - "We planned the whole thing extensively using 3D modelling and built the tank 20 days prior to the shoot and strengthened it with pillars before beginning the set work inside it.”

“We had almost shot continuously for 24 hours each for 4. Ensuring the safety, it was kept in mind that there should not be any electrocution in the process as they were mainly shooting with electrical equipment in knee-deep water” - the director said.

Further he added, “Since the sequence was shot in May during the Summer, there was water-scarcity too and we had brought sea water and treated it to reduce the salinity.”
