Director Puri Jagannadh's new film, Ismart Shankar, is making waves at the box office in the first day itself, despite being panned by critics. This action film stars Ram Pothineni and Nidhi Agerwal in lead roles while actors Nabha Natesh, Satyadev Kancharana and others play supporting roles.
The director had posted a video in his official Twitter account which showed the audience and fan frenzy for the film. The video also had people climbing over each other to collect tickets for the movie from the ticket counter.

On the technical front, iSmart Shankar has music composed by veteran music director Mani Sharma. The film is shot by Raj Thota and edited by Junaid Siddiqui. The film is bankrolled by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the banner Puri Connects and Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies
