Director Vishnuvardhan has been receiving all praise and appreciation for his recent Bollywood film 'Shershaah' starring Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The story revolves around Kargil war hero Vikram Batra's life. The movie was released on August 12 on popular OTT Platform Amazon Prime Video.

Vishnuvardhan has directed blockbuster films in Tamil such as Arinthum Ariyamalum (2005), Pattiyal (2006), Billa (2007) and Arrambam (2013). While talking in an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, the ace-director spoke on many things including his early life, his thoughts on Ajith and Vijay and many other incidents. However one crucial question was whether he'd do 'Billa 3' with Ajith again in the upcoming years.

Answering to this question, Vishnuvardhan said, "We didn't plan anything. You have to leave a few films like that without digging deep inside it. If you leave it so, things will go smoothly." His answer hinted that there's nothing on cards as of now regarding the same.

Vishnuvardhan also said that some of his underrated films are Arya-starrer 'Sarvam' (2009) and 'Panjaa' (2011). While noting that his favourite has always been going to theatres rather than watching films on OTT platforms, he said that the gap between Bollywood and Kollywood is merging. "It is becoming like Indian Cinema. That is the beauty of it."
